This is an follow-up to our earlier post about Great Horned Owls nesting in the barn at the Elkhorn Slough Reserve. The photo above  was taken May 2nd. Compare it to our previous post taken only a week earlier – how quickly they change.

Sharks and Rays at Elkhorn Slough

The quiet waters of the Elkhorn Slough Reserve are great for viewing sharks and rays.  These were spotted from the trail near Hummingbird Island.
